Join Us for an Open Studio Session

Let’s have some fun!

We’re celebrating our one year anniversary in INSPIRED, and you’re invited to a complimentary Studio Session!

I don’t know if you know this, but I kinda-sorta started INSPIRED on a whim.

Tired of jumping through social media hoops and longing for the connections that used to thrive there but barely have a fighting chance these days, I was aching for a way to share my journey and build community with other similarly-minded art lovers and makers.

So I made a spontaneous decision to do something maybe-just-a-little-bit crazy with very little prep.

I quietly launched INSPIRED, content to let it gently and slowly come to life as I learned how it fit into my life and art practice.

I never gave it a proper party though, and it seems to me that a one year anniversary is the perfect time to celebrate!

On Saturday, November 18, 2023

12pm-1pm EST,

I’ll be hosting a free INSPIRED Studio Session

It’s open to as many guests as my Zoom room can accommodate. No strings attached, just come and enjoy the experience!

(I’ll record it, and you’ll be able to watch it later on my YouTube channel if you can’t make it.)

Bookmark this page, because all you need to do is click the button below when the time comes.

Here’s your supply list:

  • watercolor paints
  • water
  • brushes
  • paper – loose leaf or in a journal, preferably watercolor paper,
  • your favorite drawing pens and pencils
  • Some writing paper (or you can use your journal)

INSPIRED is a monthly membership program designed for people like you and me.

I felt a bit of “If you build it, they will come” about it, but it’s the truth.

Here’s what I wrapped into our lovely community package:

  • a place to connect with fellow artists and art-loving people
  • motivation to make art regularly
  • support for creative people of all different levels in their artsy ventures
  • a place to share and discuss what we’re working on
  • live community Studio Sessions that offer both fun and depth
  • enough structure to inspire new ideas but enough spaciousness to allow inspiration to take the lead

I knew if it was made for all of us, it needed to be fun, easy, and super accessible, even on a busy schedule.

(Hello, giant library of pre-recorded process videos and tutorials!)

I love learning about myself through my art and, likewise, learning about my art through reflection. I find great value in this cycle, and I wanted our community to provide the space, encouragement, and support for us to engage deeply with ourselves and the creative process, even if we only have limited time available.

Are you craving that too?

I would love for you to join us on Saturday and see if INSPIRED feels like creative home to you.

If you’re curious about what each month looks like, here’s a quick snapshot:

  • One live Studio Session via Zoom (and all past recorded sessions)
  • One live Co-Work hour via Zoom
  • A new journal prompt at the beginning of each month
  • New process videos and tutorials (there are already over 40! *gasp*)
  • (and more!)

Don’t let the whole “journaling” thing deter you if working in a book isn’t your jam – everything we do in INSPIRED can be used outside a journal too.

Join us for this open session, and if you love it and decide to jump into INSPIRED full time, it’s even more reason to celebrate!

Right now you can use the coupon code

5offNov23

to get $5 off your monthly subscription price for the duration of your membership.

That means each month is only $20 – which is kind of insane, and it won’t ever be that low again.

**Doors for open enrollment are closing on November 30th at 8pm EST and won’t re-open again until Spring 2024 at a new, higher price.**

I really hope you can make it!

XO,

Sara

Oh! and PS – feel free to forward this email along and invite friends. The more the merrier!
